in toy story 4, the little girl who gets the toys at the end of toy story 3 gets cancer and dies in the hospital while the toys watch and then the toys are all put into a box and buried underground then a volcano erupts nearby destroying the entire town and burying the toys under ten feet of lava which soon hardens into rock
